Overview

The Pan Mine is located approximately 28 km southeast of Eureka, Nevada, along the highly prospective Battle Mountain–Eureka gold trend. It is a Carlin-style gold deposit mined using conventional open-pit methods with gold recovered through heap leaching.

The Pan Gold deposit was discovered in 1978 and has been in continuous production since 2017. Leach pad expansions were completed in 2023 and 2024, adding additional stacking capacity. This enables the seamless processing of future deposits and supports continued mine life extension through exploration.

With numerous targets around the North and South pits remaining underexplored, Equinox Gold sees significant opportunity to ramp up both generative and near-mine exploration to drive future growth.
